1. The Extraordinary and Marvellous people from the island of Syros
Over the 3 day stop-motion animation workshop participants will explore the extraordinary and marvellous people from the island of Syros. The participants will create short animated vignetteshighlighting the amazing characters on the island, from local to the visitors to the Animation festival. The film will celebrate the island and the 10th anniversary of the animation festival. Theparticipants will come up with the concept, characters and story. The group will then sculpt the models using Plasticine before using cameras and animation software to bring the models to life.

2. The Imaginary
Travel with us in an Imaginary world through the animation techniques of stop motion pixilation and rotoscoping, during our three-day workshop. For our trip you will need to bring with you your mobile phone or tablet in which you must have downloaded beforehand the app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cateater.stopmotionstudio&hl=en, if you are an Android user or the app https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/stop-motion-studio/id441651297?mt=8, if you are an IOS user. Don’t forget to bring with you your charging cables and one object, anything you wish to! Have your batteries fully charged and your memory cards empty, and not the other way around. If you wish to and have a PC with Photoshop installed, bring it along. Armed with a positive attitude, creativity and your devices fasten your seatbelts and prepare yourselves for an imaginary journey.

3. Atriparound Europe
Join us for a three-day workshop to learn about Europe, its countries and landmarks through an imaginary journey. With us and the kids as travelers in sceneries of our creation, we will visit several places in Europe while learning more about animation techniques. Through our travels we will create together our own short animated film. Using our creativity while having lots of fun we will have the chance to become not only animation heroes, but also creators.

Children’s age 10-12 Workshop
4. My nissos
The workshop revolves around the principle that the human eye can perceive a series of slightly different static images as an optical illusion of motion. Kids of all ages, young adults and their families are welcome for a two-day introduction to a variety of moving image techniques, from pre-cinematic devices to today's GIF applications for the internet and the social media. Participants of all ages, through creative collaboration, will experiment and create optical toys in order to explore the boundaries between photography and cinema. Participants are kindly asked to bring along their cameras or mobile phones together with their USB cables.
