Seven unforgettable days marked the largest and richest ANIMASYROS programme to date, featuring 280 films – the very best of global animation. The 2025 edition brought leading guests from around the world, with 7 competition sections and 4 special tributes (Animated Cosmos, Bill Plympton, Croatia, and Great Greek Masters).

The programme also included specially curated films for children, the renowned International Panorama and New Greek Voices, as well as educational workshops open to all.

The Agora - the hub for international collaboration - hosted more than 100 professionals from 20 countries. Visitors from across the globe – many experiencing Greece for the first time through ANIMASYROS – joined long-time festival friends who, for the past 18 years, have returned every September to the island of Syros.
