The Green Tales: World Premiere at ANIMASYROS 2025

The Green Tales film is the culmination of the Green Tales project, a two-year Erasmus+ initiative cofounded by the European Union led by the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation (IYMF) in partnership with the World Human Forum, Çukurova University, the University of Akureyri, Panodyssey, the European Fairy Tale Route, Fundación Yehudi Menuhin España (FYME), and MUS-E Deutschland.

Working with primary school children, artists, and educators across Spain, Iceland, Turkey, and Germany, the project used storytelling, music, drawing, and stop-motion animation to enable more than 150 children to explore the four elements -Earth, Air, Water, and Fire- and their relationship with nature. The final film weaves their voices into a vibrant, cross-cultural narrative that celebrates creativity, diversity, and environmental awareness through the universal language of the arts. Green Tales invites audiences to rediscover the world through the eyes of children.

The world premiere of the film will take place in a special screening as part of ANIMASYROS 2025, on Sunday 28 September at 11:40 a.m. at the Apollon Theater.
